Hi,
I'm wondering what to do about prices in the new year. With petrol going up so much, we will all be getting less in our pockets. I want to increase just a little, say a cut from £11 to £11.50 but I don't want to annoy my customers lol.

What are all you mobile stylists doing?

i don't think that is bad at all!!
when was the last time you increased??
if our costs go up obv their costs go up!!
i'm sure they will understand, plus vat is back to 17.5% in jan so thats another cot
although i didn't put my price down when it went down to 15% lol

Thanks for your reply. Well I only set up in Feb this year, so no increase yet. Oh yeah, I had forgotten about VAT going up too, will def have to increase then. Shall I start letting clients know now? We did in the salon, but then it wasn't up to me, the boss got it in the neck if they moaned lol!

I went from 12 to 15 only 1 person upset. Others said about time and still cheaper then the rest of town.

Ah that's great, thanks.

yes just mention it now and they will be ok about it, wouldn't just say on the day!!
i would even put it up more yano... your not making much more with 50p
if you do 50 clients a week put it up a pound, tht'sobv £50 up for you,
they won't mind that i'm sure, most mobile are still cheaper than town centre prices xxxxxxxxx
