hey guys just wondering if any of you are registered with the hair council? if so is it really worth it?

I don't know about the second one but the state registered hairdresser gives you credibility with a lot of organizations e.g. working with vulnerable people, entering competitions, insurance premium is lowered, stock price discounts with selected suppliers, and if you plan to go international it votes well in your c.v..
 
I had to register as I do some barbering in a private college and fit and wigs in the hospital. But I don't know of anyone who has registered as I often ask. But come to think of it there's a school in sandhurst area that don't allow spikes or colours in pupils hair and I did get a circulated letter stating this from the county.
