Colour in between hair extensions

in just wondering about how to highlight my clients hair, she has bleach highlights and wants the nano extensions she has her hair coloured every 6 weeks can I still highlight as normal or would it be better to miss out the rows of the extensions and focus on the top thankyou

Just do the areas that have no extensions. Hairline and top. She'll never part the hair where the extensions are so there's no need to colour it.
