Thanks to everyone who offered advice to me on here re my colour. I was going too white blonde with a Wella 12/0 and desperate to get a more natural looking light gold blonde. I am base 7 with warm undertones. So I got the salon to try a 10/1, and damn it all I now have orange roots.
I know they look worse because they show up against the white (they did a toner through ends but it didn't take that well) but they just look ginger to me.
There must be something between white and orange!!!!
Should I have tried something different in the 10 range? I thought the /1 ash would be best for combating the warmth. Or has it just not lifted enough? But 12 lifts too much!
Any ideas?
Thanks
