Nail technician - mobile services or salon?

I am a qualified beauty therapist and nail technician of eight and a half years, I have run my own successful mobile business in the past but have not been fully working in the industry for the last five years. I am fully confident in the quality of my services and would like to set up my own business again.

I would be interested to hear your thoughts on whether to work as a mobile technician or have a salon? What has worked best for you and why in the areas of aftercare sales, work/life balance, profit benefits/pitfalls and competitors.
