Hi geeks I've just used loreal Infinie platine on my self to try it as I use platine precision on clients and myself
Usually I get a burning sensation but mild as we all know is normal but my god did this burn I couldn't last 50 mins so I took it off at 45 and it's still in the orange stage not even yellow which is odd as its meant to have 8 levels of lift it's too painful to even tone plus my scalp is red I used 20 Vol btw so I'm stuck with grey hair and orange roots, not very professional looking.

Any one else experienced more sensitivity?

How long ago had you shampooed your hair before you did the scalp bleach?

From what I learned at a class, that lighter was ment for balayage. The distributors went around marking it comparible to blondor so when the stylist put it in foils with 30v. Under heat all the hair melted off. But again that's just what I was told. I hope that helps! Use blondors on scalp bleach. It has added oils to protect your scalp.

Blondor cream is lovely.

Also SP have a hair and scalp protection product that you apply from the bottle to your scalp to protect your scalp.

Well I've gotten to the bottom of this one I rang loreal and apparently after they released it they had many complaints of scalp burn so they took it off the market as a scalp bleach but all the older packets and online information still says for scalp use

It says on the packet scalp use but it's now not recommend I have a right pickle orange roots with scalp burn and grey ends and I can't do anything till it's healed!

That's horrible! I hope your poor head heals fast!

I'd use a nice semi to tone out the orange.

Hiya!
Sorry to hear about your reaction! Was that with a L'Oreal peroxide aswell?
Can you please tell us, when did they say they have taken it off the market as an on scalp bleach because I still use it as one!? :-/
That's so dangerous if they're risking leaving any on the shelves!!
I love this bleach, on and off scalp! I never have to leave it on longer than 20mins either.
Think I'll ring them too. Sorry I cant help with your hair this is the best one I've used! Xx
