If I bleach first obviously I’m going to have copper tones. Use /68 just mixed with peroxide and that will give me a vibrant purple?

So I was planning to use Affinage b-red magenta for a client tomorrow. I used a little this evening for some highlights on my daughter. It didn’t produce as much of a purple colour as the shade chart led me to believe. It’s more pinky than I’m looking for.
This maybe a stupid question...

If you think it would be better to add something into the 9/38 I’m more than happy to take on any advice. It’s all very much still a learning curve for me

If I use 9/38 on her roots with 6% that will cover her grey?
I was thinking bleach highlights with 9/0 & 9/01 mixed as a toner
