    Hi I was wondering when doing nail prep is it necessary to use a different lint free pad for each finger when cleansing over nails? I have been doing this but am getting through lots of pads and was wondering if it would be just as effective with one for each hand.

    I have started using polygel but am finding that when I apply a colour gel polish on over the top, particularly light colours it doesn't go on very smooth or evenly. I am filing and buffing the polygel after application to create a smooth surface. Any ideas what I can do?
