Hi this may be a silly question but I am new to doing massage and was wondering what you should don if you cut your finger/hand as a massage therapist. I cut mine today and have a massage booked for tomorrow and was wondering if I should do it with a plaster or cancel. I feel ok doing it with a plaster but don't know if this would make it uncomfortable for the client.

When I cut myself and have a treatment like a massage based facial or back massage I use a plaster with a very good fitted nitrile glove on the top of it. All my clients say that they can't tell the difference between skin or glove so I go for it and carry on as normal.
The plaster would only come off with the oil so it wouldn't be nice if the cut started to bleed again. For them or you.
Hope that helps

Ok thanks I will try that.
