It's going to be really tricky to do , I'd look for another technique, purely because if this kind of client sees copper or warm tones which you will need they will freak out ! Might be better for her to grow it into a balayage by growing and blending the roots -might take 6 months or more but...

I would use a semi / crazy colour or even a hi lift pure tone (some brands have these ) with low peroxide or water on the ends and make sure she is using a colour shampoo , not swimming or washing her hair everyday all these things will help .I'm not sure adding blue would help it might make...

I second dont apply dark tint on those ends ! Thing with colourstripping it can be patchy and absorb colour when you tint over the top . I would double check that what this client want calls golden brown is what you or the chart would call golden brown . I wouldnt overpromise and do this in...

I wouldnt bleach bath, the colour should fade and lighten up a little anyway . If you want to add warmth I would use a warm semi a shade lighter so it doesnt grab

What % white is she ?

If you lightened the ends alot the fade would be quite bad unless you use a crazy colour type colour but then your client might like it faded , I'd go and have another chat with her

I think you will need to lighten the ends a little , and go over them last minute .I accidently did this exact look in the 00s by mistake when using a dark purple base and white hilights .I wasnt careful enough taking it off !

Sounds better really depends on the porosity if theres loads of old hilights covered by old tint which has faded it may grab and go darker and ashier .The strand test should tell you what sort of nick the hair is in , you could always apply semi to roots and miss and through ends last minute.

If shes got loads of old colour I'd also do a bleach strand test just in case

I dont think an 8.1 will do anything unless it's over a lvl 8.5 to lvl 9 , also if it's quite brassy /orangey a lvl 7 would be better to cover it
