    Airbase advice

I found Airbase horribly greasy feeling and it rubbed off on me - Im not a fan personally. Have you tried a setting spray? I use the Kryolan one and it sets everything pretty solid alrhough I dont use airbase myself. My 'go-to' foundation is Face Atelier which is silicon based the same as...

    Zoeva role gold brushes?

The liner brush I find myself using most often is a Royal angled one, but I bought a cheap set of silicon liner brushes made by Real Techniques which are good. The handles are quite short (I like a longer handle, personally) but the set contains an angled brush, a fine line brush, a short fine...

    Zoeva role gold brushes?

Hi, I have quite a lot of Zoeva brushes and to be honest I find them mixed. I bought a blending brush (eye) which I loved and ended up keeping for myself, and when I ordered another for my kit it was totally different when it arrived - the bristles on the first one were brown real hair, they...

    Model needed

Have you looked for a local Facebook group for local TFP models or maybe try Purpleport?

    Primer & setting powder

My current favourite primer is Nars Light Optimising Primer and either RCMA no-colour powder or Ben Nye Banana powder.

    Cruelty free makeup brands

yep, Face Atelier is a Canadian brand and officially marketed as cruelty-free. Their range isn't huge but their foundation is ah-mazing. I use it on everyone (except very mature skin - my lovely mum is in her 70s and it's not got enough 'slip' for her, although actually it might work over some...

    MUA's-your go to bridal foundation?

If anyone hasn't tried the Nars Light Optimizing Primer yet, definitely check it out. I got some a few weeks back and I have used it on everyone I've made up since, it's amazing. It gives a really lovely subtle glow but doesn't have that horrible texture (well I think it's horrible) that you...

    Make-up artists: let's share tips!

Those colours look great, are they really pigmented?? I don't mind spending more for quality but if they are as good as Mac or whatever then I will buy it!

    Make-up artists: let's share tips!

Can anyone recommend a good purple eyeshadow/pigment please? I did a wedding trial on Saturday and one of the bridesmaids wants very bright eye makeup as that is her usual style - the dresses are purple so she is set on purple, but I am looking for a vivd but not too warm shade and I'm giving...

Newbie first post! Setting up help please

I do makeup only, not beauty treatments, but I carry a camping table with me to put my products on just in case there isn't anywhere convenient at the venue I'm working at. It was about £12 from Sports Direct (reduced from about £45). It's just a lightweight folding table with a carry handle...

MUA's, can I pick your brains?

If you suffer with gel products drying out you can drop a tiny drop of Inglot Duraline into the container and mix it in to revive them. It also makes the product waterproof.

    MUA'S help under eye concealer?

Im using the Nars one at the moment too - applied with the Real Techniques concealer brush (the angled one).

    Brow tint - Refectocil

If you buy the Anastasia Dip Brow, I would get Taupe and Dark Brown to cover 99% of bases. The Taupe is suitable for blonde hair (applied lightly) right through to mid-brown and I have used Dark Brown on medium brown through to black hair. If you like the formula you might want to add extra...

    Brow tint - Refectocil

I use Refectocil and i dont find it dyes the skin at all, although i am careful with it and i use vaseline on the surrounding areas as i am trying not to dye the skin anyway! Have you tried Anastasia Dip Brow? It doesnt budge on me even after a run. Also Wunderbrow - not tried that one myself...

MUA's, can I pick your brains?

The requirements vary depending on the company. For most of the ones I got, I had to have a website, insurance, a certificate and a business card. Some of them have more requirements, some less. Illamasqua and Face Atelier are free and online (I would highly recommend Face Atelier - their...

MUA's, can I pick your brains?

It's much cheaper once you get your discounts. Although im sorry to say there is no cheap way to build a good kit. I would focus on getting key items from recognised brands and have a smaller kit of high quality stuff rather than a big kit of cheap stuff.

    Airbrush makeup

I've been umming and aaahing about getting a new airbrush. I have the Dinair one but I don't really rate either the brush or the formula of their water-based foundation. We used Airbase when I did my training at School of Makeup and I didn't really like it on myself, but that's mainly because...

    Being sued

I cannot imagine that you would not have been contacted if the case had gone to court. They would need you to attend to give evidence if the case went to trial. I assume this is what you mean by someone successfully suing?? That they would go to court and win the case? I think the previous...
