    Shellac nail colour ring!

Exactly what I did - Yay! Looks much better. We sometimes forget that someone has to put these things together and yeah it makes sense alphabetically but it looks so much more pretty arranged as per the catalogue.

    What's happened here?

Wow well done, you've done a great job! Now you know if you can tackle issues like this anything else should be a breeze!

    Rearranged Shellac colour tip ring

So, I checked out the order that the colours are shown in the latest catalogue, then rearranged a couple - the nudes mainly & I think I have a more 'natural flow' of one colour moving to the next. I had to use some tweezers to gently lift enough to remove the chain but it's all popped back on...

    Shellac nail colour ring!

Oh well done it looks good. [emoji12] I've finally managed to undo the chain & have arranged them as per the latest catalogue but I wonder what nudes you have together? I wasn't sure whether to place Field Fox with Nude Knickers & Satin Pajamas. The catalogue places it between Sugared Spice &...

Blood thinning meds for blood clots

Hi, just need some advice my first client - the Nordic Lights - told me she has a condition which causes mini clots and is therefore on blood thinning meds. - not warfarin but she couldn't remember the name of it. Now do I need her to get a note from her Doc for me to apply Shellac or just get...

    Shellac nail colour ring!

I felt the same. For some reason I was expecting long nail pop sticks like the clear rings that SS sell. They would have been easier to splay the colours. As you're not the first person to say some of the colours aren't true matches I'm starting to feel a little apprehensive. There must be a...

    Shellac nail colour ring!

I can't seem to be able to to do this on mine. It looks like it's not meant to be but then I could be just scared to break it. [emoji15] I agree re that some are quite clearly 3 coats so it would be nice if we could have a list of which ones are 3 coats. Especially for a newbie like me who at...

    Shellac nail colour ring!

Ah good to know & knew there would be good reasoning behind the order they've been put in. I didn't want to break it so could you advise on how to open it? It would be lovely to see them 'flow' from one colour range to another - not that I would know the best way to do that so maybe I need to...

    Shellac nail colour ring!

You're not wrong there!! There's already a few I've got my eye on [emoji23] The only thing was that a few kinda stuck together & transferred bit I'm just niggling.

    Shellac nail colour ring!

Unfortunately it doesn't appear to undo which is a shame. I can take a pikkie & post it if you like to show it closer up?

    Shellac nail colour ring!

Not sure but I don't think it will be far behind the Shellac version especially this time of year. Can't wait to get any new colours personally for the Shellac & I may find a way of marking the ones I have as they do seem randomly arranged but I'm sure SS can explain why. [emoji57]

    Shellac Aurora-glitters?

Beautiful! I've got my eye on Midnight Swim to purchase & I think you've just convinced me! [emoji7]

    Shellac nail colour ring!

Well yesterday - Saturday - I received amongst some other goodies the Shellac nail tip ring & at first thought Oooh bit fiddly, & a shame colours not put in a phased from one colour to the next. Some of them had stuck together & transferred colour - but that's being picky. Also for example...

Shellac Nordic Lights - first client

Blossom & Mrs Geek thank you so much! I can see even myself that they look grown out already but her eponychium really was awful so I hope I did the right thing. I tried to go as close as possible but it wasn't until the solar oil & almond lotion at the end that they looked anywhere near ok...

Shellac Nordic Lights - first client

Thanks guys, to be fair her nails are in an awful state but she insisted I do them so she's aware they may not last but overall apart from the complete lack of coverage I'm pleased. And it makes me feel better knowing I'm not the only one doing 3 coats for that lovely coverage. It does go on...

Shellac Nordic Lights - first client

Thank you my lovely [emoji179] yes The skin surrounding her nails was so bad I was nervous about getting any closer - I explained why & she totally understood. So I'm hoping next time they will be in better condition! I see already that I'm not getting close enough to the eponychium end of the...

Shellac Nordic Lights - first client

Ah yeah, that's what I was going to ask, [emoji57] so tired [emoji23] being inexperienced I'm still learning what is too thick or two thin but I found I had to do 3 coats. Is this normal for this colour?

Shellac Nordic Lights - first client

Hi Peeps, Had my first client today & my first experience using Nordic Lights! I'm exhausted [emoji23] took me forever - lots of PEP required & of course educating her about a few things re cuticle is not the cuticle it's the eponychium & no it shouldn't be cut! [emoji15] She has been great &...
