Gelish Structure soaking off super fast?

That's what I was thinking too Izzi! Do you have any problems with the color going on a little streaky on top of the Structure? I wiped the sticky layer and it helps, the color goes on very well. I haven't used it enough to form a solid opinion yet but so far I love it!!

Gelish Structure soaking off super fast?

Hi all, have you noticed that when you apply Gelish Structure under the color, when it comes to soaking off- everything comes off better and in bigger chunks then color by itself?

    Employee going self employed

I don't think taking percentage is a good idea. It always leads to problems. I don't think the person can be legally self employed if you are taking a percentage on ongoing bases. I don't know how the rules are in UK but here it depends what Revenue Canada sees is what goes. It doesn't matter...

    Employee going self employed

I'm not a fan of "self employed" people in the salon. Many times it's not even legal. What bothers me that the self employed person/renter can do whatever they want and you will not have control over quality or style of work, products used, hours they are working etc. Basically they are becoming...

    Unemployment

I wish you were in Canada! I have such hard time finding people. Most of nail techs works from home part time only or they have no experience. I would love to hire someone straight out of school but we have to be bigger (pull in enough money) in order to do that

Please help - what would you do?

You are welcome :) Yeah, I have a feeling that if this happened once, it might happen again. Again, I beg you, get IBX, it's inreplacable in these instances. It really, really makes the nails smoother and stronger even after 1 treatment. Also there is nothing to peel or pick with IBX. ps/ I...

Please help - what would you do?

Hard to say with the polish on... Good thing you made them shorter. Personally I would round the corners a little. I find the more square the nails are the more they tend to peel and bend on people with weaker/bendy nails. Like the pointer finger on the right hand. I bet she will have problems...

Please help - what would you do?

If you filed them off no matter how gently they can be weaker. I soak off L&P till it rolls off the nail. Too late for you to get IBX but please look into it, well, get it. ;) I have better results with IBX then Brisa Lite. This is a tricky situation. Normally I tell the client that I...

Please help-IBD base or Gelish base with IBD?

I use IBD Just Gel which I really like but their base and top is not that great. I use it with OPI base and top coat. The base coat soaks off cleaner in big chunks and the top coat i like because it doesn't have that "glow in the dark" effect.

Please help - what would you do?

Did you file off the L&P or did you soak it off? What was the condition of her nails after the removal? I always suggest a full IBX treatment after removal either gel or even gelpolish.

    Getting rid of card machine?

How about raising the prices by 2.5% and giving people a discount if they pay cash or debit? Just thinking out loud. We only accept cash and debit. Our average bill is about $45. Our prices vary between $28 (for brows) and about $100 for mani/pedi with gel polish. The only thing we do upsell...

Is it a cloud based system? Do you need an invitation to book online? There is no pricing on your website, what is the cost? There should be a video-demo on your website so we can see how the system works :)

    Booking online

We use Booker. I love it! It's a full POS and booking system. I have used Vagaro (nah) and Genbook (this one is just for booking and it's not a POS system) What I like about Booker: - credit card capture (we don't book without credit card. too many new client no shows) - good inventory...
