    Dyson Supersonic

I got one the day they launched and absolutely love it (for personal use). It's small, light, perfectly balanced, quiet, quick drying, leaves hair smoother, and the hairdryer itself looks stunning. The magnetic attachments are brilliant. And the diffuser is the best I've used. HTH! [emoji4]x

    No shows!

I text a reminder the day before. If they've not arrived 5 mins after their appointment time, I try calling and / or texting them. If they don't show, and I didn't get hold of them, I would only book them in again with payment IN FULL, upfront. This sorts out the time wasters! I have a very low...

Help, I stained a kitchen cabinet

This happened to me when my mobile therapist who I used to treatment swap with dropped some blue-black lash tint on my white high gloss sideboard. The only thing that gets it off (very easily) is Shellac remover. Works a treat, but don't rub too hard. Comes off instantly. xxx

    Dyson hairdryer

I totally agree. I'm so excited that I've already called Dyson who are contacting me the day they launch in the UK (20th May they think).

Thank you for your reply. Which heater do you use for them? And what's better (if anything) about the OO True Blue? Thanks in advance.

    PR Cirepil roller cartridges

Hi everyone. Do any of you use the above for leg / arm waxing? If so, can you tell me what you like / dislike about it? Does it reduce your treatment times for a leg or arm wax? My client base is 50/50 male and female. I've always used pot & spatula (with wooden spatulas and no double...

    Strip wax for male hair-types

Hi there. I've only ever used Perron Rigot, but am always interested if there's possible a better product line out there. What do you prefer about the OO range, for both strip and non strip? Most of my waxing is male & female intimate, and backs / chests, but I do everything else too. Many...

    Male waxing

I also wax males and females, and work from home by myself (I'm female). Over the last year, I've learnt a lot about clients behaviour, who to avoid, who's not worth doing an appointment for etc. I try and weed out the strange guys before they even get to booking stage- you can generally tell if...

    Intimate waxing 'love heart' request

Hi fellow geeks, I do intimate waxing for males and females (Kim Lawless trained). I've have a new male client coming tonight who has requested a heart shaped area to be left on the pubic mound. Has anyone ever done this, and if so, did you do it free hand or use some kind of stencil? (I'm...

    Leaving wax heaters on?

Thanks for the replies everybody. I only took delivery of my 3rd hive digital yesterday, so I'll have to work round it the best I can without taking risks. Maybe I'll get the PR digital ones when they need replacing! The other thing for us all to bear in mind is that we shouldn't be using...

    Leaving wax heaters on?

Hi all, I work as a waxer from home, and some days I turn my hive 1000cc heaters on at lunchtime for any evening appointments. (I still work p/t in my 'day job'). I do this so the wax is settled at the correct temp so I can make my first evening appointment soon after getting home from 'work'...

Monthly trade swap near Hinckley / Nuneaton anyone?

Hi, Just wondered if anyone was interested in a monthly 'trade swap'? To be exact, I'm looking to have my lashes tinted and a facial, in exchange for a wax (I only do waxing). This could be a leg wax, intimate wax etc. (And I'm Kim Lawless trained in intimate waxing). Please let me know if...
