Im 24 years old currently a full time hairdresser working in a salon for the past 4 years & I'm wanting to go back to college for further education.
My problem is I'm the main stylist at the salon cover all duties as if i had a manger role . Recently my boss took on a new full time stylist which was great easing some of the pressure off me. As one of the part time stylist went on maternity and wont be back til January.
Ive seen a course in Hairdressing costing £1500 plus £50 material fees & that requires 3 days a week being at the college, which would take a huge amount of time and pay away from me
Im struggling on what to do. I really want to go college and study to better my self but if i go now i fear the drop in my pay would effect my financial duties i.e car, rent, travel, food etc. i care about the salon and dont want my boss thinking I'm leaving them in a mess
Any suggestions on what i could do?
