A healthy nail?

Ok, this is going to sound dumb. Maybe I am reading too much into the question. One of my assignment questions is: what signs indicate a healthy nail?
Now, I can think of many things that wouldnt. Even some that would but does it mean normal or healthy?? Like if I say free edge (no matter how long) - would that be right? I think I am just confusing myself. Sorry if I am confusing you. Just dont know what exactly to write?!

Healthy nails should typically sport a pink hue, but sometimes they may change in tone and texture...healthy nail does not have any white spot or any ridges..don't make it complicated....xxx
