Acrylic back fill over UV gel extensions?

I have a lady wishing me to take over her nail services... She currently has tips with UV hard Gel, can I just back fill with acrylic till the gel grows out or am I best to remove all the gel first,.? I'm aware it will need filing off as soaking won't work!.. Thanks

I would make a clean start and file it all off. then start again with your own acrylic. You could even suggest she has a break from extensions for a week or so then come back and start afresh x

I'd totally remove the extensions already on, acrylic and gel are very different products which I doubt will work well together in this case

You can do maintenance on them , just remember the colors prob won't be a match , so you might want to use your cover pinks .
