Hi

I am looking to enroll on a Nail course to learn Acrylic Nails :)

Im not qualified at present to do any sort of nail work,. however I have done acrylics before on friends but the powder and liquid i have used hasnt been the best ever therefore didnt have a great result but I really enjoyed doing it and now want to look at a course.

I live in Northamptonshire and i have been looking at doing a course through Essential Nails which i found on the internet, but having read a few reviews I am now a bit hesitant to do so, as i think having someone by my side would be the best way to help me learn.

Does anyone know where I can learn to do the acrylic nail course, that is of a reasonable price and locally would be a bonus!!!. I have been around my local salons but thought I would post something on here so I have a variety of places to choose from.

Many Thanksss

Hi Liseey,

When I just looked now on this page I found 5 posts no less, lol asking pretty much the same question you have just posted!! Have a look through the threads and have a read and many of your questions will be answered.

CND have a huge reputation for their excellent training and superb products and have won industry awards for both. They also have trainers all around the country.

You can contact them by phone (which is the best way, not the website) 08452106060. or have a look at them at Welcome - Sweet Squared and click on education.

Good luck with your search.

Hi - I did the CND nail course at my local college. It was excellent and the standard is high so stands you in good stead for the future. However, to do the acrylic course, you must first do the manicure and pedicure course, which broadens your horizons, teaches you important basics and makes doing acrylics easier by far.

I also got ILA financial help to help with the cost. Off the top of my head (and it was a few years ago now) they course were around £220 each, and the kits where about £50 for man/ped and £80 for acrylics.
