Acrylic paint nail art?

I bought some nail art pens & im not completely happy with some. pigment is not as good as i thought they would be. i saw a girl on youtube using acrylic paints from a craft shop, could i use these for nail art? & put a top coat on without it smudging?
Also if so, can i mix the colours to make other specific colours too?does anyone else do this? Thanks xxx

hiya - i use normal acrylic craft paint also as u get so many colours, and like u asked yeh u can mix these, just apply with a small brush and wait until dry, then seal with top coat and all should be fine and dandy
