acrylic paints

i have just bought some acrylic paints and when i tried to paint with them it didnt seem like the paint wanted to stick to the brush or the nail, do i need to add a little water to it? i saw another thread and the advice was that the paint had dried out but it doesnt seem dry to me. i am total beginner and have only been using the two way pens up until now so bare with me if i seem totally dim.
i bought them from sallys in a pack of four are they usually quite good from there.

I have those & mine are fine. Give the paint a good mix, use a cocktail stick or other end of paint brush. Other than that I don't really know.
Much better value & colour range if you simply buy your paints from a craft or art shop though. Look in the bargain bins.

i have just bought some from a craft shop and they are fine i think i will add some water to the other ones and give them a good mix thanks.
