 Hi to all. This is my first time posting a question but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.
My question is about the shelf life of acrylic powder. How long can they keep for if tub was opened and not used? Do they go off? Will performance of acrylic be affected?

I have some back from when I first tried to learn nails before but due to my lack of confidence and perseverance, I decided to give it up.

Anyway I dusted myself down and jumped back on that horse.

I want to use this powder to practice with as I am now training for my NVQ level 2. The kit the college provided is not enough as it is just a sampler kit and I need all the practice I can get to improve my confidence and skill.

Thanks in advance and I look forward to receiving future advice if I can master how to use this site.

How old is the powder ??

They do have a shelf life, yes.

It also depends under what conditions the powder has been kept whilst you have not been using it.

If they have a shelf life then im in big trouble!

I just purchased the largest size of CND L&P and im only doing around 12 clients a week (purchased them just prior to moving to a small country town)

I just checked the containers out and theres no used by date, perhaps they need to start adding them.

You are not in trouble if you keep the products in a cool environment and away from direct sunlight.

Most liquids and powders are good for at least 2 years in the right conditions. Let's hope you can use them up by then.

The products do have a DOM on them so just work from that time. However nail companies will only guarantee products for one year from DOM.

If you are good to them then they will be good to you.
