I'm new to nails, did my course early this year. Work from home in the evenings only so not that busy. My favorite thing to do is acrylic nails with tips. My major problem is getting them smooth and even (if you not what I mean). I take my time applying the acrylic and then file smooth with a file and smooth with a white block. If they want french then I top with a gloss coat (rather than buff to a shine), and they usually look quite good. Problems appear when applying a colour, you can see the odd up and down bit - like I've not filed them well. I check so much to see if there is any bumps and try to look from all directions and also feel them to see if there is anything, but still never get them perfect. Is this just a 'newbie' problem or just me. So want to give my customers the best nails ever and feel a bit deflated over this issue.
