Adding a watermark to my pics?

Hi I’m really struggling to understand how to add a watermark to my pictures? I’m not the most computer savvy [emoji849]but surely there’s an easy way to do this?
Any help really would be most gratefully received before I end of pulling my hair out ‍[emoji23]

One way I do this is by editing the photo on instagram story and saving it that way

Ok thanks so much for replying, will commandeer my 17yr old when I get home to give me a quick lesson lol, I’ve got Instagram but think I’m going to use a business type one & try as you’ve indicated to add it this way [emoji8][emoji108]x

You could always try pic collage? You can type text over your pics
