I have a lady who has come to me for the first time with dark asian hair and wants some foils putting in to lighten it up, she has previously had some which is still visable on the ends of the hair and there like a golden tone, i was wondering would i be able to get the lift with a high lift or would it have been bleach that was used?

I have never worked on asian hair before and im a little nervouse incase there is something i need to do different.

I would appreciate any advice, many thanks :)

Asian hair has a very strong cuticle, but it depends on what shade you are going for. Cooler tones must be bleached and toned, warm ones can be highlifted. If you are going for a true blonde, and not a medium level, I would skip the color and head for the bleach.
