Advice on structure

Hi all! Just looking for some advice on this nail I have just done (see pics) it's an acrylic nail done with a nail form (my first time using forms) I still have had no practical training as the company I'm using keeps cancelling but I'm desperate to get this right so some advice would be greatly appreciated.
I recently watched a video from nail experts about a 10 step filing technique which I have used here and must admit it makes much more sense now but wondering if my apex is right and in the right place more than anything.
