Hi geeks,

I'm after a bit of advice please.

I have a potential client that is on the very large side!

He is wanting a facial, deep back cleanse and hair removal and also possibly nails.

Whilst I welcome every new client, I'm a bit concerned about the safety of him using my beauty couch.

He has already broken 2 of the chairs in the barbers shop downstairs and I worry that he could injure himself.

Obviously for nails, eyebrows etc it's not an issue as we would use a chair but not ideal for treatments where the client needs to be laid down.

My question is how would i go about letting the client know that I wouldn't be able to offer him certain treatments without offending him?

I don't want to discriminate against his size but it just would not be safe.

Any advice would be great!

Thanks

oooh delicate subject. Hmm I would try an alternative way to offer his treatments, could he sit on a therapy chair that would allow him to have back massage? I used to be bigger and I was always terrified of going for a massage and seeing the therapists face, fortunately I found a good one.
Just be understanding and offer an alternative to the couch if you are worried.
