Air conditioning

Can anyone recommend a good plug in air con system/really cold air fan for the summer months? We already have air con but it's only in 1 room of the salon & I don't want to pay for proper air con as I rent the property.
I was thinking of getting the dyson tall fan..
Any suggestions?

You're best looking at portable air condition machines. Prices range from around £200-1000+ comes down to size and features

I have a portable air con at home that I bought from Argos. It's fantastic and I usually only need to put it on for an hour or two to keep the room cool.

Mine has an air hose so needs to be near a window and if on high can be a touch noisy. You can use it as a cooler or a fan or both, which is fab.

You do need something that will take the hot air outside , I researched this extensively for my own salon, if it doesn't take the hot air out somewhere it usually works by using water to cool the air which can leave the room humid and smelling a bit damp!
