Airbrush Help

hey guys I'm thinking of buying an airbrush machine. Can anyone tell me exactly what I need to buy is it just the gun ? or should I buy a compressor. Please tell me what i need to buy inorder to get my machine up and running as soon as I get it. any websites that sell airbrush machine world be nice.Thanx

Hi there,

firstly, do you want to do airbruhs nails or tanning, body art?

if it is nails you need:
compressor - if it is just for nails then you dont need to go for a big one - but just rember a little one might not be able to do tanning if you choose to offer this later. Make sure the compressor has a moisture trap - very important.

airbush - I recommend the aztek A4305. normall airbrushes have a needle which runs the length of the airbrush body and can be costly to replace when need be. the aztek however, only has a tiny needle which is in the front of the airbush only so easy to clean and replace!

nail art pait - Medea is great!

base coat and top coat from the SAME make of nail art paint.

Appropriate cleaner for the airbrush - buy from the nail art supplier.

And that is it, I would reccomend some training to teach you the basics of the equipment and afew simple designs to get you going.

Also consider if airbrushing is something that clients will want. A full set up can be costly and could well be money down the drain if its a service no one wants.

Not trying to put you off just giving some advice chick...advice i wish i had before i bought all my set up that has been used a hand full of times and now sits in the back of the cupboard.:irked:
