Hi

I was hoping to try akzentz gel and wondered the best items to order as a starter as i dont want to spend loads buying things i dont need later. can anyone recommend the basic must have items and is the gel good over white tips for strength and longevity?
thanks :)

Are you wanting buff off or soak off gels from akzentz?

I use the buff off. To cater for all clients, You'll need affixit, bonding gel, cool coverage gel, warm coverage gel, natural pink gel or clear gel. Builder white for sculpts, a paint on white and a topgloss.

yep probably the buff off to try first so do you use affixit as a primer then super bonder gel as base coat gel then do tip/white and then coverage gel then top gloss? do i really need clear gel?

I use Akzentz buff off gels and for a french on either a NNO or over tips or sculpts I use....

Affixit
Bonder gel
Natural Coverage gel..(i like warm)
Paint on white (they do a bright and a natural)
Clear builder gel (i use this after the pow to fill in the dip and protect the white while i buff to final shape)
Then i would finish with either the Clear topgloss or the Opalescent topcoat (my fav) ...

Im in the process of changing over from NSI to akzentz. Is the clear builder thicker than there natural gels. this is what i been using over the pow. I find it hard to build a good apex, it seems to pool. NSI body builder clear is good and have sometimes used this over the top instead. I like to keep to the same brand where poss. Will the clear builder give me the hight i need? Does it self level?

It just depends what you'll be doing! My application for sculpts or tip overlays

Affixit it
Bonder gel (cure)
Builder white (cure)
Natural gel translucent pink (build apex and swipe over the white, cure)
Wipe and Buff into shape (if necessary ........ sometimes no need! if thats the case I remove inhibition layer and oil to finish.)
Then if I do buff, i then apply topgloss to finish.

I still have warm and pink coverage gels for clients needing a little colour to the nail beds.

Hi there i use soak off and buff off akzentz soak offs are amazing colours especially the glitter gels and the aurora sparkle gels are so beautiful i did french glitter tip today with silver aurora totally gorg and very versatile....
find the gel is thin than others but you just apply the colours in 2 thin coats and the coverage is good as they all self level........so watch it doesnt run in to cuticles but buff offs are medium consistancy and the builder and white builders stay where u want them...... :D

hi just wondered trilite clear not curing to shine but dull all over what am i doing wrong i am curing for 2 mins is this wrong???? thanks

I think trilite you have to cure for 3mins. I havn't tried this gel though, I have been using their natural gels.
