From a clients point of view, it will not look professional.

thats what I thought im suppose to start next week and i am getting bad vibes..not sure what to do have you ever took a chance on something like this!?

Nope... I'm currently on a situation where i can rent a space, rent is good & the salon is fairly busy. But, problem is, i have full time office job that pays really well. Don't know if i should take the risk or not. I hate my office job!

Tip ex altered price lists will look terrible and so unprofessional. Why don't you offer to pay for new ones to be made?

Think of it from a clients point of view, If you went to ask for a price list and it has been tip ex, what would come in to your mind straight away? And what kind of impression do you think that portrays about your service?
People are judgemental and if they see that they might assume that you offer a cheap service. It will look even worse if they manage to scratch it off and see the real price then that would look like you have deceive them.

They say first impression last so you don't want to create a negative impression. If say you got some flyer and business cards done and it cost you £100, it might sound a lot but what are the implication if you don't change the price list? I am sure you will loose more than £100 worth of business if you tip ex the old price list. If you want to say money then there an online printer called saxoprint, they are the cheapest i have seen and it will take about 5 workings for the price list to be printed.

If you want to charge people more money then you have to look professional, I don't just mean your treatments but also in your advertising/marketing. If you need to get your price list done then someone in here does create them for a really good price, I think his name is carl. Just do a search on the forum, I think he has done a few peoples logo in here.

Definately get some more made up, cant be that expensive!

If you work in an office surely you might know where your office gets stuff professionally printed. Or do you have a print room which you can get professional printed stuff for a charge?
