Another Tech wanting advice on Fimo!

Hi girls (and guys!)
I have been searching through the forum for ages for tips on how to apply the fimo flakes to nail enhancements. I use CND L&P.
Do I do a French smile in the chosen colour and then while wet do I place the Fimo flakes on, cap in clear and then do the rest of the nail as normal??xxx

I have found some tutorials using gel but not acrylic. I have been trawling through Youtube and reading lots of forum posts! Any help would be really appreciated x :o

how you do it depends on the look you want to acheive, but i'd say that essentially your idea will work.
whatever you put down before the fimo must be thin though or by the time you have enclosed everying in clear you'll be left with a thick nail and then thinning it with a file will spoil your design.

It works the same for acrylic as it does gel. The only real difference is you don't put it in the lamp to cure.The thinner the layers the better.
