I had no idea what I was embarking on when I did the Marvel Lash course. I didn't feel like I really learnt much and that we just paid for the qualification and didn't actually gain much in the way of confidence/experience.

Only joined Salon Geek today and saw how rubbish everyone else rated Marvel Lash!

Done my 2nd set of lashes tonight and feel really deflated afterwards because I feel like the products are terrible!

Has anyone else been on the Marvel Lash course then changed to a different brand?

Everyone has a favourite brand, at some point every brand has had someone unhappy with it.
Your second set of lashes are not gonna be great, read the blogs, people are struggling after many sets. It is a skill that requires a huge amount of practice to become proficient.

So I think your expectations are way too high, it's not the product etc, it is a lack of practice.

If, after 20 or so sets you are still struggling then try out some other products, you will be in a better position to judge whether or not they offer you more than your current product.

I am a hair geek. If I taught you a haircut, after 2 goes you still wouldnt be able to do it as well as me. Is it the wrong scissors? the wrong comb? bad teaching?
No, it is pure practice. x

Yeah, I know it's gonna take a fair few practices!
Was just a bit let down by the course. I haven't really given the lashes chance yet, just taken everyone elses opinion of the make to heart.
After another few goes, I shall re-evaluate!

Other peoples opinions are only their opinions. You have to make your own mind up, and not listen to others quite so much.

I love L'Oreal, but am the only hair geek who uses majirel. I think all the other geeks use koleston. It doesn't make me want to switch. I like what I like.

Keep practicing and stop believing that there is a miracle product or a quick fix. There isn't. x
