Applying loose glitter?

morning everyone!
i have recently trained in acrylics and have purchased some loose glitters to use but im unsure of the best way to apply them? do any of you have any hints and tips?
i have mixed one pot with clear acrylic but a lot of it was used on one set

I only mix up what I need at the time. I use glitter with clear powder.
Also sprinkled onto the 2nd uncured layer of gel polish then cure (catch the excess on paper) then brush off excess and top coat or not.
Once you've applied your 2nd colour coat take a soft brush and burnish glitter into the tacky layer. Gently rub until it's flat and no excess then top coat. Particularly nice with holographic glitters.
