I had an appointment today with a business mentor at the local chamber about going self employed. It was really useful. She said I should narrow my idea down and decide what my aim is (I was looking at bringing stress management into my remit too and approaching local companies, schools etc.).
I am thinking now that I am going to concentrate on massage and also meditation as means of achieving holistic well being. I am going to make a list of loads of schools, colleges, call centres, factories, gyms and care homes in the area and contact them about going in to do staff development/well being sessions if they have funding available. I am going to do this in addition to individual mobile clients. In all honestly though, I would absolutely love to have a room either part of the week and mobile the other part or rent one full time but its obviously the financial implications.
