I could have written your post (and my name's Gemma Louise too which is actually a little spooky!).
I'm 24, about to turn 25, and my closest friends range from 21 to 35. The youngest is 4 months pregnant and the oldest has 3 children, and all those in between have had multiple pregnancies. When my best friend found out she was pregnant and I realised I was last it was actually a real shock as I have always been very maternal and assumed I would be a young mum.
It is hard not to feel left behind in our situation, even though we are making sensible choices - no-one ever says well done for not getting pregnant by accident or to trap a man do they lol!
My partner of 7 years and I bought our first home 6 months ago and I am so enjoying our time alone in it but I def see us having a child here...albeit after I finish my degree, get one more promotion and we get married...a girl can dream eh
