Back to school promotions

Ok so some of you may have read my posts before. I work from my home salon but have recently started renting space at a hairdressers on Thursdays. It’s been slow starting with just a few of the hairdressers clients booking in with me.
What do you all think about back to school promotions? Have any of you found them successful?

I don’t like any promotions really.

Just refer a friend and loyalty schemes to increase return business.

What marketing have you done? Never expect any business from the location or hairdressers as it very rarely happens.

I don’t really do marketing only Facebook and I don’t feel it works for me very well ( probably because I don’t have a clue what I’m doing when it comes to marketing)
I would love to learn more
