 Can you help clear something up for me? :o

During my foundation training we covered re-balancing, which I was told is usually carried out every 2-3 weeks.

But I have read in threads and seen on some of your websites that you offer infills and backfills and these are done at different times.

Am I right in thinking that infills are the same as re-balance? but what are backfills :o !

sorry if this is really obvious, sure loads of you know the answer, could you please fill me in..!!!

Hi,

it comes down to different company's terminology - I understand an infill is where you only fill in the Zone 3 growth - a rebalance is where you rebalance the entire nail and a back fill or French rebalance is where you replace the Zone 1 with White.

I hope that makes sense.

aaaah! now I get it, :D

thanks for clearing that up for me Fiona. x

What is a good thing to remember is when the nail grows the whole 'balance' of the nail has moved. so really I always class a maintenance appointment as a rebalance. Hope I haven't confused you honey. xx
