By the sounds of it the problem could be more to do with poor application rather than a solution problem.

It seems over spray has probably dropped down onto your lower legs and feet.

The best thing is to start to exfoliate lightly but regularly to the effected areas or alternatively look to strip the complete tan off sooner rather than later...I.E...go right back to basics ready for the next tan.

Baby oil and soak in a hot bath for an hr will help start to break down the tan....constant exfoliation and plenty of moisturiser also to keep the skin in good condition ready for the next spray tan.

Good luck

Aww you poor thing - I was going to suggest oil too - Maybe soak your feet and legs in oil(any oil - vegetable whatever you have) for about 5/10 minutes then while the oil is still on exfoliate. Oil is what strips the tan. Hope you have more success next time.Lisa

thanks guys oil it is then! just really disappointed as have busy afternoon of appointments then its a close friends birthday party and was looking forward to getting dressed up now think will need to wear boots or something. x

I had a bad spray tan before I went away....what a nightmare! I tried all the tips on here on removing but none of them worked.
I had oil on my hands and feet for 30 minutes at a time, and exfoliated but I was still stuck with orange hands and feet.

My problem is that I sleep with my hands on my legs so I woke up with orange palms.

The person who did the spray tan had vaseline on my nails which she removed with a baby wipe, this resulted in me having whoping big white marks around each toe nail.

This is the very reason why the use of vaseline in an endeavour to cover and protect things can work against you...best to avoid it as not really needed if the technique is correct when having the spray tan applied.

In so far as touchy touchy in the night...try some moisturiser on the palms of your hands when retiring...alternatively wear a pair of socks on your hands :lol::hug:

When trying to remove the tan..try regular exfoliation then apply oil and have a long soak in a hot bath...relaxing also if you light a few candles and sip on a nice chilled wine
