Hi all!

I'm popping over from the hair geek.

I don't know if this is the right type of question for this forum, but basically I have (IMO) bad skin. I get spotty quite often and I'm really pale too so it's so obvious. I obviously hate it and want to know what the best way to keep it as bay as much as possible is!

At the moment I don't do anything what so ever to my skin so I can't really complain but I don't know what the best things to do are, so anything like what face cleaning methods I should use, products, does diet matter? etc would all be great, thanks

Hi Tom
You're going to get either no replies or everyone giving their two pence worth!

From me: environ skincare is fab and results driven. There is no perfume at all so really gentle but also totally suitable for guys to use. I now have quite a lot of male clients on our range.

For you I would recommend a facial cleanser that can be rinsed off with water and a moisturiser that's suitable for day and night and that's about it! No shiny face and really great skin.

I'm sure someone else will be along with their own solutions!

Would you be able to post a picture so we can get a better idea? I understand if not as we don't all want to bare our insecurities on s public forum but would help recommend the right product?
Also what is your commitment level? Are you willing to use a face wash and moisturiser or will you push the boat out and use exfoliator masks go for facials etc?

Also what is you shaving routine and what medium do you use?

It's almost impossible to correctly assess your skin and prescribe the correct skincare regime without seeing it in the flesh.
Get thee to a qualified, experienced therapist who specialises in skin, and let them have a look at it.

Hi :) I also use Environ skincare and find it's a fabulous product.
I would start you on sebuwash, as this product has tea tree oil which helps to fight the bad bacteria causing your breakouts. I rec this product as opposed to the regular wash for it's lovely anti bacterial and also bcoz it is a wash and is less dehydrating then the regular gel wash.
The next step is using a toner, this can be sebu tone or revitalize toner, of your skin is reactive I would suggest colostrum serum as it's calms angry inflamed skin and also has amazing healing properties (applied at night)
For a moisturiser you can use sebugelA or moisture gel.
This is light formula and once your skin is adjusted to vit A level you can move up.
Essentially works as a step up system, their motto is by the time you reach step 3 your skin will have normalized. And I have seen this myself.

Results I have seen really bad angry skin improve dramatically 3 months or less. Each client is individual.

Essentially acne clients are your most deprived clients of vitamins A.
So I would strongly suggest you look Into taking oral multi vitamins.
Also anther tip, because you work on hair salon with lots if heat from hair driers etc your skin is more prone to flushing due to temp changes etc..

Anther tip: change ur pillow cases often!!!
And your bath towels, you be amazed at the change even with doing that!

Good luck x
