There are some things that stop you in your tracks when you happen to come across them. Givenchy's crystal masks are one of those things. Created by the visionary Pat Mcgrath, who does love all things sparkly, the crystal masks appear to have knocked the breath out of the beauty world.
McGrath is know for constantly challenging all notions of runway beauty and for being one of the most inspirational and creative artists out there. A few seasons ago she created crystal eyes and lips for Dior but this year, she's taken it one, enormous step further.
The masks used crystals, sequins and netting and took a whopping twelve hours and "forty pairs of hands" to create.
Awesome.
