So im doing a clients hair who wants a chocolate all over and bleach foils lifted to an 8 and neutralised.
My question is what wella shade is best for with highlights..
(Base 6)
6/77, 6/73, 6/07, 6/7, 6/75

Surley the colour it's going on top of will answer your question? What is the clients hair currently like?

Completely virgin base 6

Good condition too

Wow! Don't get many virgin heads nowadays! Lol, just see what underlying tones she has and let her pick the shade she likes best & use your theorey to get the right shade x

I know! Shes 16 and its her first colour thinking of going for 6/77 tbh

If it's virgin hair then I would maybe use a highlift tint with 9% and then a 6 in colour touch round it. Personally it might look softer and no need to bleach and tone.

I would deffo use colour touch ,6/7 is nice , the swatches in the book don't do it any justice ! I wouldn't use permanent on a 1st time colour client I just couldn't justify it x x x
