Best place to change up holiday money?

I haven't been away for quite a few years and I'm going to italy with my friend in July.
Any ideas where I should change up money? Here it when I get there?
Where do I find exchange rates?
I know a lot of you have been in holiday recently, Tia for advice x

I usually change enough to last me a day or so in the country, til I can find somewhere to exchange. Usually a much better rate than here.

I change mine at post office online, always better rates than on the branches, next day signed for delivery x
