Hi I am a qualified beauty therapist and have covered make up as part of this but want to get more into becoming a professional make up artist on photo shoots , catwalk etc I enrolled on a fashion and photography make up course in the evenings and after several classes realised I was my going to learn anything I had by already covered so never returned.
So I'm wondering what is the best way for me to go about this, should I try the course again to get a more formal qualification.
How To go about getting a portfolio built up or should I try getting a make up artist to 'take me under their wing' .
I struggle as I have 3 young kids so it's not always the easiest to schedule course etc.
Any suggestions appreciated thanks
