Billion Dollar Brows or HD brows?

I want to do an advanced brow course but unsure whether to invest in Billion Dollar Brows or HD brows......what does everyone think? Has anyone done either of these courses?

I trained with hd brows on November and before that did not like doing brows infact I avoided them. Now it's prob one of my favourite and must popular treatments but there are lots of brow courses around now from other experienced trainers and training companies so don't be put off them too

Just did BDB course today with the Carlton Institute. Love the course, can only speak for BDB, my main reason for training with them and not HD brows was the cost....I know you get what you pay for and I am a big believer in that but I have to say I did my research & I like the look of BDB plus the retail looks great and it's affordable to clients too. I've wanted to train in a specialist brow treatment for a long time and now I can't wait to get started! X

I've done bdb course today at Kerie hoy salon and didn't like it at all, I left there feeling very disappointed, I got to wax one brow only as there weren't enough people on the course despite being sold on a discount for a while and we were not taught by Kerie who is the only bdb certified trainer, some other lady was teaching us who is not a bdb trainer now is she an expert in eyebrows, while kerie was in and out all day and later put her cleaning gloves on and started cleaning the salon.
My advice is to not waste your money on this course!

Kerie needs to step it up if she wants to make it in the training business, this is not the way to treat your students!

Sorry to hear that. I've just done my HD brows and I felt so confident after. Plenty of practical, did 2 models and even in the trainer. Nilam came and said "hi" to everyone. She gave tips and did a live demo at the end. Super friendly and so nice to hear her celebrity stories and how she came up with HD brows.

For me personally, it was worth every penny.

I don't think you will regret it. I have never in my life had my brows done (waxed, tinted or threaded) and I didn't even know where to start to get the perfect shape on me. After the course, I can see the "shape" so easily and the maintenance takes 1 min to get them look perfect.

In response on that particular day Heather White was the trainer who is a certified Billion Dollar Brows trainer and has a PTTLS level 4 qualification. Heather is also a fantastic and qualified make up artist. It is not accurate that Kerie is the only certified trainer as we have certified BDB trainers at all of the Carlton Institute venues. All trainers have been taught and mentored by Kerie and we would not allow anyone to teach our courses who is not suitably qualified. We limit the number of people on a course so that everyone gets attention. From the same course we had fantastic feedback "What a fabulous training day", which is the usual response.

I trained myself and 2 employees with Kerie in Hitchin and it was a fab day. I do need to send my pics in though to get our certificates! I keep forgetting.
