Hello - am hoping someone can help!! I've just started to use Bio-Sculpture and am loving it, however......... I think I may have a problem with the soak off solution - as I've noticed the last few times i've carried out a soak off, after the treatment I seem to have a quickend/racing pulse . I know ventilation is very important, however I'm mobile so can't always have as much fresh air as i'd like!!!

Has anyone else ever had this?? Do you think Im having a reaction to the solution??

Any advice really really appreciated - as I'm dreading soak offs!!!!!

thanks in advance.

I have never heard of this, however acetone/remover can make you feel a bit dizzy if it is not covered when you use it, i.e. having a bowl in fromt of you with your hands in it.

I soak cotton wool in remover, then place onto the nail, then wrap each finger in tinfoil, this minimises any fumes from the product, then I put everything straight into a covered bin when I have finished.

Also are you breaking the seal of the gel with a file before you soak off? This speeds up soak off time. Hope this helps.

Good advice above.

To help even further, I would consider pre-preparing the cotton wool (or whatever you use for soak off - I use wonderwipe) and foil strips, and have a small glass bowl with a lid.

I actually use a glass dappen dish - about 2 inches across, like this and put the soak off solution and wonderwipe in. I then lift out with tweezers one by one, replacing the lid each time, before wrapping the finger in foil, so I am only exposed for a matter of a couple of seconds.

And whilst I would always normally advocate sticking to products within a system, of course it could be something else in the solution such as a perfume or conditioner that is affecting you, so you could try an alternative supplier, or even just acetone with a couple of drops of cuticle oil in....at least to see if this helps. Product remover is of course, preferable, but not at the risk to your health!
