Bleach bath instructions please?

I haven't used a bleach bath before, only strippers, and need some advice please.

Do you put the solution on wet or dry hair?

How long is it left on for?

Does it really dry the hair out?

Most often (every head is different) the formula is:
1oz bleach
1 oz desired developer
1 oz shampoo
However, that being said, depending on how much stripping you need, it can be altered to be stronger or gentler, ie using water rather than developer, or half water....the options are endless, but keep in mind You are going to be doing some damage, so yes it will dry the hair out some, and it can be left on for as long as it needs to be, although you will need to rinse and reapply when your bleach times out. If the hair is in good shape, I use it on dry. If I need to really watch the integrety of the hair, I might dampen it with a protien spray, or oil it for protection.
