Blow dry day before or on the day wedding?

For my wedding I want my hair blowdried professionally to add volume and curl. Then I want it properly curled with a curling iron and styled in a half up.
Is it best to have the blow dry on the day? Or could I have this the day before my wedding and then just have it curled and styled on the day?
Thank you

It depends on your hair type really.
Are you using your usual hairdresser or someone who specialises in weddings and special occasion hair?

Ideally, these are the discussions that you have at the trial so that there's nothing new and unforeseen on the day. The trial will give you an idea as to how well the style will last so that you don't end up looking unkempt by early evening and so you can make minor adjustments on the day, as necessary. :)

I have very thick, mostly straight hair.
I'm having a mobile hair and makeup artist so she'll be styling my hair.
If I had it blow dried the day before it'd be in my usual hair salon.
The issue is that I'm getting married on a Sunday so most salons are closed!
Thank you

Normally I prefer to wet set hair as it holds much better and if you have a lot of hair, you could consider doing that the day before and pinning the curls in overnight? That way, it wouldn't take so long to style it on the day.

I haven't 100% decided on curls.
Would a blow dry the day before and styling on the day look nice and last?
Or would it be better to have the blow dry on the day too?
Thank you

It maybe worth speaking to your hairstylist and asking if she can accommodate a blow dry on the day
