Do any of you provide this treatment?

I am thinking about doing the course at the Carlton institute and was just after a bit of advice from you guys first.

How popular is this treatment?
Do you find it affective?
How much would it cost to do one treatment?
How much would you charge your client?
Are the products easy to get hold of?

I've never had one done but my friend says she has lost inches just after having one done.

Has anyone had one of these? xxx

I think wraps are the height of sophistication, their is something very evocative when you see bodywraps, so if you want to add a little spa-appeal do the course.

I used to use an algae gel for my wrap, it comprised of an algae exfoliation/peel followed by the algae gel, then wrapped up.
Removal was by steamed mitts (it was designed for rooms with no shower facilities) and any excess massaged in. A refreshing algae lotion completed the treatment.

I have also use dead sea mud as a wrap but only when I had a room with a shower.

I now offer chocolate body wraps by gerard's and seaweed cellulite and green tea abdomen.

I have had formal training in body wraps and I think its important to undergo proper training, although if you purchae the wrap products from companies, they sometimes provide training, you would have to check your insurance to see if that is acceptable.

i think the carlton course is half a day, so go for it!
