When I took my Brisa course, I was told that the idicator lamp on the back side would swich from green to red, when needing to replace the bulbs.
Has any of you experienced that - or do you change the bulbs even though the indicator lamp is still green?
I have had my lamp for a number of years, and though I only do nails in my spare time, I wonder whether the indicator lamp works at all, because it is still green...

For how long should I expect the bulbs to work?

I "think" the indicator light works based on the number of hours the bulbs have been used rather than how old the bulbs are...? if you do nails in your spare time they are going to last longer than of someone who is doing nails all day everyday.

I don't use my Brisa lamp as much as I used to and I change my bulbs every 12 months just to be sure.

Bagpuss is right. The indicator light DOES work but if you are only doing nails part time and your light is green and you have no problems... the your bulbs are perfectly fine!

Hope this helps! :!:

I have wondered if they are affected by the number of times they gone on and off. I do quite a lot of 10 second freezing (probably more than most)

I have never had a light go red and always keep spare bulbs in stock as with my first lamp, I was getting pocket lifting (change of bulbs cured it) but the original bulbs were over 12 months old.

As I do more Brisa now and work with 2 lamps it probably isn't an issue, but would love to know how frequently other peoples lamps go to red
