What brush did you have before. If you got on really well with it then why not just replace it with the same one. Try and get a brush box to store your brushes as the plastic shield will get melted.
Brushes are very personal and what one person gets on really well with might not suit someone else.

The monomer on the brush is reacting to the plastic shield cover... it will surely melt it. Once you have used the brush, do not use the plastic shielf cover anymore. You have to look for alternative to store your brush.
